Puppetry

Puppetry is an art that has intrigued both children and adults for thousands of years. It's been used to entertain as well as teach. With so many varied forms developing through the years, there is a puppet show out there for everyone.

I've enjoyed participating in shows as well as watching them. It's amazing the amount of work that can go into a 45 minute performance. In one of the attached files, you'll find one show that I've performed in numerous situations. It's fun! And if you want something new to do, give it a go. Print out the file, "dig" up some characters and volunteers, and go find an audience! You'll have a wonderful time I'm sure.

The two main files in this set are from Thomas Manley, a young college man - well, he's 17, but mature enough to call a man. He submits them as entry into our scholarship program, and we wish him luck as he shares his life and adventures with you.
