I cannot prove my ancestry because there is a lot well hidden and unknown. I am Native American as well as many other things, among these is Cherokee. I know I am Tsalagi because my great-uncle told me so. He was told by his grandfather. There are others back farther who were taken in and one's real name is not known so it is nothing I can ever prove, just something that I know. But more important than what I am or am not is who I am, and who we all are. I feel all people in the whole world should work together more and we will have a better world, and that is what I would love to accomplish in some small way with my poetry. We must work together for the sake of the Earth and for peace.
Thank you, Daquoi
This may not be historically accurate because history is hard to make accurate, it depends on the
author as what the outcome will be. I do not mean this poem to show any disrespect for the Nez
Perce but rather to honor them.
Tribute to Chief Satanta
(Chief White Bear- a great Kiowa Chief)

I hope this will honor the Chief even though it may not be historically accurate. I mean no disrespect to White Bear.
